My favorite photographs in my personal life were taken in a photo booth or on a cheap point and shoot film camera. I never pass up a photo booth! I have two children, preschool and elementary age. My daughter wants to be an artist when she grows up and uses me and my job as an example. I hope she always wants to be an artist in some way and I am always an artist in her eyes. I got married in March of 2020 the week of the covid pandemic shutdown. That’s also the year I started photographing weddings. It was both very bad and oddly good timing. I was born just outside of Atlanta and grew up in a small town on the Georgia-Alabama line. My parents moved us into multiple historic homes, some more haunted than others. I spent a lot of time as a child in the attic of our 200-something-year-old home sifting through the bins of family photographs. I still live in the area but being so close to the world’s busiest airport I love traveling around the East Coast and beyond to weddings, too.
