THE PROCESS
—Would we be a good fit?
I value intentionality, creativity, and relationships. I want to photograph your wedding day in a way that serves you— capturing what is important to you and only what is important to you, maximizing the time you spend celebrating, and anticipating moments rather than creating them.
My approach is more hands-off. I like to let moments happen and you enjoy your wedding day to its fullest.
While I work with coordinators and couples to ensure we have enough time allotted to linger and everything runs on-time I let the coordinators handle the hustle and bustle day-of and don’t rush my couples from place to place. I want you to savor the moment!
I work best without a shot list though appreciate them for formal family photos and love mood boards.
—How much will it cost?
Each wedding package is customized based on coverage and travel. The average couple invests 6-8k with us. You can find more information in my FAQ section below or by inquiring. In an effort to be transparent, pricing guides are shared via email prior to scheduling a call.
—What’s the first step?
Once you fill out an inquiry form, I’ll be in touch within 24-48 hours with my availability, the appropriate pricing guide, and a link to schedule a quick call. During this call I will answer any additional questions you might still have, go over my process and approach on wedding days, and ensure we are a great fit. It’s important to me that what I am offering will best serve you and that you feel confident about that too.
If our availability doesn’t align I will gladly help guide you in the right direction.
—What’s next?
After our initial call I’ll send over a proposal for you to review. I require a 20% retainer and signed contract to hold dates.
—Between now and then
In the time between booking and your wedding weekend I’d love to stay in contact. You are welcome to share any Pinterest boards with me, ask any questions, or request recommendations along the way. Within the weeks leading up to your wedding we will hop on another call and revisit your wishes- your likes and dislikes, special requests, and the finer details of your wedding day or weekend. I’ll put all of these thoughts together and curate a timeline for photography that allows space to enjoy your time with friends and family, capture what is important to you, and leave out the fluff that isn’t.
—After
Before anything else I will ensure your images and film are safe. See more about my processes that ensure the safety of your memories in the FAQ section below.
Within a week’s time I will send a few digital images in a small gallery for you to enjoy. Within two weeks I’ll share a small amount of film photos. Within 6-8 weeks you will receive your full gallery link with all of your film and digital photos. If you booked super 8 as well you will also receive your final super 8 film, super 8 teaser, and uncut footage within the same gallery at this time. After your film is delivered I will ship the film reel (with the physical processed film) to you for archival purposes!

Yes. The amount of film I shoot on each wedding day varies depending on available light, client preferences, and my best judgement. However, most galleries will consist of 30% film. I value quality over quantity but am able to provide more film coverage upon request if it’s a good fit for you and your wedding day.

We live just outside of Atlanta but often work in New York and the surrounding areas. We serve all of the East Coast and are willing to travel further. We are familiar with traveling for work and have safe practices in place to ensure we and our gear arrive on time. When traveling we always arrive a day or more early as well as walk-through the venue or location when possible.

At the end of a wedding day back your photographs up onto a hard drive. I keep original SD cards until after each gallery is delivered. Film is shipped off via UPS with tracking or dropped off at a trusted local lab the next business day. Film scans are backed up onto hard drives, as well. My preferred lab also keeps our scans and negatives safe for 90 days. Super 8 cartridges are also shipped off via UPS with tracking or dropped off at a trusted local lab the next business day and the scans are backed up once I receive them. When traveling with film we always ask for a hand-check so the film never goes through Xray or CT machines. When we are able to drop film off at a trusted local lab before traveling back we do.
