A Covid Postponed Wedding Reception at Summerour Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Film
Anne and Brian got married in 2021 during the covid pandemic. Due to the pandemic, and their friends and family coming from all over, they postponed their reception and had an intimate ceremony. Four years later they threw a party well worth the wait with all of their friends and family and their cats were even there too!
We shot a good bit of film on this day along with super 8. Some of my personal favorite moments from the day that we captured include Anne’s bridal scarf blowing in the wind, the coordinated dance between Anne, her parents, and her brother Eddy, Eddy jotting down speech notes, and the giant cardboard cut-out cat heads. The reception space was draped in green, the cake was a light pink, and they opted to use fruits as decor. Tab from Atlanta Flower Co created a beautiful floral installation along the grand staircase and a hanging installation of greenery from the industrial ceilings of Summerour that you spot throughout the night as they drank, ate, and danced underneath.
